2015 was incredible, 2016 is going to be even better!

The end of the year is the perfect time to look back at past accomplishments while looking forward to new endeavors and opportunities.

2015 is almost behind us and FAA had an incredible year. We hosted over 20 events, including

In addition to that, we've expanded our Youth Advisory Council and volunteer list with more and more new people getting involved.

As great as 2015 has been, we're extremely excited about the upcoming year. 2016 will mark FAA's 10th Anniversary and we've got some fantastic things lined up (see below)!

We'd love your support in making all this happen. Every donation is 100% tax deductible and even the smallest donation helps us tremendously. We're 100% volunteer run and rely on your donations to be one of the nation's only youth-run music and arts nonprofits.

Things to get excited about in 2016!

Fredericksburg All Ages starting our first Girls Who Code club.

In case you haven't heard, we're starting a Girls Who Code Club in January. The club will be part of the national non-profit organization Girls Who Code, which seeks to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities. The Girls Who Code club will meet in FAA's digital arts and media lab, Studio 15.

The club will be taught by Kenneth Lecky and Zeph Mann and will be advised by Kana Zink.

Our winter/spring club is unfortunately already full to capacity, but if you or someone you know is interested for our Fall 2016 club, please visit www.fredericksburgallages.org/girlswhocode for more information.

Youth Leadership Training

Fredericksburg All Ages is partnering with the Richmond Peace Education Center to host a training for youth affiliated with FAA in 2016. Members of FAA's youth advisory council and others will be invited to take part in this experiential and highly participatory program that emphasizes affirmation, communication, cooperation, problem solving and leadership.

Students will take away new skills for resolving conflict and at the completion of the program, each successful participant will be given a certificate of completion and can become a certified member of the RPEC youth conflict resolution team.

FAA's 10th Anniversary!
